AMETIC creates a Digital Talent Observatory for promoting digital skills in Spain

AMETIC, the employers’ association for Spain’s digital industry, creates a Digital Talent Observatory in order to contribute to predicting and meeting the demand for digital profiles, and defining the training competencies and needs in the digital sector.

This Observatory aims to serve as a reference point for all social agents, the business fabric, the media and society in general in Spain, by issuing reliable information on the status of the question, in addition to: using the necessary sources, incorporated progressively; promoting participation by all AMETIC associates, or compiling information sources and figures in order to incorporate them into as single database. Quarterly and annual reports will be drafted.

The project is promoted by the Alliance for Development of Digital Talent - the president of which is Alejandro Blanco, Director of Seresco’s Digital Transformation Services Area- through the Working Team “Work in the future,” a team with activities that include the mission to develop this key analytic and objective tool for adequate development of digital talent in Spain.

Together with Seresco, other companies have taken part in the launch of the Observatory, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), EULEN Flexiplán, IMF Business School and MBIT SCHOOL.
