Seresco moves forward with an early launch of VayaVaca, Spain’s first virtual livestock market

Seresco and Banco Sabadell  launch VayaVaca, Spain’s first online platform for purchase and sale of livestock, after months of work preparing this new product. This launch will take place early in order to assist livestock farmers in light of the delicate situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic and the state of alarm.

This new product from Seresco benefits from the support of the Regional Ministry of Rural Development, Agriculture, Livestock Farming and Fisheries of the Government of the Principality of Asturias, which is aligned with the search for digital solutions that enable the streamlining of administrative procedures in the agriculture and livestock farming sector, especially in light of the current state of affairs.

The goal is VayaVaca to modernize and bolster the livestock farming sector by taking advantage of the benefits of digital commerce that other sectors already enjoy. The project is supported by Banco Sabadell, which will provide its payment management service through its affiliate Paycomet, as well as offering financing to buyers.

The main benefits offered by this online platform for purchase and sale of livestock include:

-Reduction of costs and time employed in sales
-Elimination of health risks that arise when different animals congregate
-Open 24 hours a day, every day of the week
-Enables buyers and sellers at a distance from each other to carry out transactions quickly and securely.

Buyers interested in using VayaVaca will not pay any commission for transactions carried out and can create their own demand.  In addition, the platform offers a rating system that makes it easier to know which seller can be trusted.
The sellers can upload information about the animals on sale very easily, contact buyers around the world directly and obtain the best appraisal of their animals.

This initiative also enjoys the support of the main players in the sector: Central Lechera Asturiana, Campoastur, Ascol, Matadero Central de Asturias, Bosch, ASOPROVAC, Panero Logística, IGP Ternera Asturiana, Suroccidente Agrícola, ...

We have launched the web page www.vayavaca.com so that livestock farmers can registercarry out their transactions and take advantage of the benefits of this online platform for purchase and sale of livestock.
